Frequently asked questions about golf lessons
We know that you probably have lots of questions, here are some answers that we hope will help:

Q. I want to learn how to play golf but I don’t know where to start?
We have the largest teaching program in the area and have many years of experience doing this.
We recommend that you schedule a lesson online or call Koop at 775-265-3181. He will work with you to make a plan so that you will be comfortable playing golf in a few weeks. But remember you will have to practice in between lessons.
If you have a friend  that might enjoy learning too, invite them to join you, it will be more fun.

Q. I don’t have any clubs, can I still take a lesson?
Yes, we have a full selection of clubs (including ladies, juniors and lefties) that you can use and we provide the golf balls too.

Q. Am I good enough to take a lesson?
Yes, most golfers start exactly where you are. You don’t have to be good at golf to have fun

Q. But golf is so intimidating, what do I do when I get to the golf course for my lesson?
This one we really can relate to.  When you get to the course, come and see us at the Pro Shop.
Our staff are very friendly and will get you to where you need to be.

Q. Golf is so expensive, I can’t afford it and I don’t have the time?
We offer group clinics that make learning how to play golf more affordable.  Take a look at our Clinic Calendar.
Our golf rates are affordable too, you can walk a quick 9 holes for just $25.

Q. Golf is embarassing, what if I hit a bad shot?
Every golfer hits bad shots, even the pros!
Golf becomes fun when you stop worrying about how you look when you swing that club. 
Our job is to teach you how to play, make you feel comfortable on the golf course and make golf fun. 
Trust us, this is what we are good at!
