Our approach to teaching golf is very simple.
We want to give you the confidence and skills you need to enjoy playing golf. If you are thinking about learning how to play golf or need to improve your game contact Koop. We are the largest and most successful teaching program in the Carson Valley, Carson City and Lake Tahoe area.  We have been voted Carson Valley’s favorite for over 20 years &  we have thousands of golfers that play with us every year.

We know that you probably have lots of questions, here are some answers that we hope will help:

Q. I want to learn but I don’t know where to start?
We have the largest teaching program in the area and have many years of experience doing this. We recommend that you schedule a lesson online or call Koop. He will set up a plan so that you can be comfortable playing golf in a few weeks.
If you have a friend  that might enjoy learning too, invite them to join you, it will be more fun

Q. I don’t have any clubs, can I still take a lesson?
Yes, we have a full selection of clubs that you can use and we provide the golf balls too

Q. Am I good enough to take a lesson?
Yes, most golfers start exactly where you are. You don’t have to be good at golf to have fun

Q. But golf is so intimidating, what do I do when I get to the golf course for my lesson?
This one we really can relate to.  When you get to the course, come and see us at the Pro Shop.
Our staff are very friendly and will get you to where you need to be.

Q. Golf is so expensive, I can’t afford it and I don’t have the time?
We offer group clinics that make learning how to play more affordable.  Take a look at our Clinic Calendar.
Our golf rates are affordable too, you can walk a quick 9 holes for just $25.

Q. Golf is embarassing, what if I hit a bad shot?
Every golfer hits bad shots, even the pros!
Golf becomes fun when you stop worrying about how you look when you swing that club. 
Our job is to teach you how to play, make you feel comfortable on the golf course and make golf fun. 
Trust us, this is what we are good at.
